History

In May of 2001 Minister Jeffrey Lewis received a life changing visitation of the Holy Spirit that would forever reshape he and his family’s life. It was during this time of this God ordained visitation that the Lord emphatically instructed Minister Lewis to begin cultivating and developing what is now know as Keys To Life Ministries Inc.

During this time of visitation the Lord revealed the theme and purpose of Keys To Life Ministries. While at the same time providing a foundational scripture from Matthew16:19 this scripture would be the catalyst for the launching what would become a life changing word wide ministry. This ministry would be established to teach men women boys and girls from all nations’ kindred and tongues how to gain access to total victory in every area of life through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the word of God & key kingdom principles.

Having already been ordained as Minister Lewis in 1996 Pastor Lewis shared his time of a visitation and vision with his fathers in the faith Bishop Alden A. Gaines and Bishop Gilbert Coleman, Jr. in the year of 2001. On Jan 13, 2002 Pastor Lewis was ordained and installed as pastor of KTLM.

Through much prayer and fasting this kingdom advancing ministry was founded and established in May 2002 with just 7 faithful members to include Pastor Lewis’s lovely wife Avril S. Lewis, 2 children Briana and Jeffrey along with Minister Denise Porter.

Since the conception of this life changing ministry thousands have been impacted and unknown numbers have come to know Christ as Lord and Savior from New York to Florida, New Jersey to California through preaching of the word and a open display of Faith, Hope , Love and Integrity. The Keys To Life Ministries Senior Pastors Jeffrey & Avril S. Lewis firmly believe that the first 4 years of strategic planning and training will benefit all who come into contact with Keys To Life Ministries.

  • Year 1 was our year of Gathering.
  • Year 2 was our year of Preparation.

Statement of Faith

The basis of what we believe shall be The Doctrine of Christ, according to John 9-11. We believe the following:
  • The Bible is the Word of GOD.
  1. Inspired by GOD HIMSELF (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
  2. Infallible (Matthew 5:18, Revelation 22:18-19)
  3. Authoritative, Revealed, will of GOD (Hebrews 4:12, John 7:17)
  • There is one true GOD, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Mark 12:29, I John5:6-8)
  • Jesus Christ is perfect humanity (John 3:18; Mark 2:27-28)
  1. His virgin birth (Luke 1:35)
  2. His sinless life (I Peter 2:22)
  3. His miracles (Acts 10:38)
  4. His vicarious and atoning death through his shed blood (I Corinthians 15:3-4)
  5. His bodily resurrection (Ephesians 1:20)
  6. His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Ephesians 1:20)
  7. His personal return in power and glory (I Thessolonians 4:13-18)
  8. His millennial reign (Revelation 19:11-16, 20; 1-15)
  •   The Salvation of Man
  1. The shed blood of Jesus Christ, grace through faith believing in the heart that GOD raised Jesus from the dead, and confessing that Jesus Christ is Lord with the mouth while believing with your heart, will result in man’s salvation (Romans 3:21-30: 10 8-10)
